Pizza is an American illustrator and podcast host (Creative Pep Talk), best known to children's-book readers as the author-illustrator of Invisible Things (with Sophie Miller as co-author), a picture book about the unseen feelings and curiosities children carry around with them. Pizza's style is bright, hand-lettered, deliberately retro, with strong design sense and a warm-but-quietly-melancholy register. He works extensively in editorial illustration alongside picture books. A reliable contemporary picture-book illustrator for ages 4–8 with strong appeal for adult co-readers.
