Cariad Lloyd is a British comedian, actor and writer, and the creator of the acclaimed Griefcast podcast, who brings that same honest, warm-hearted understanding of loss to books for the very young. Where Did She Go?, illustrated by Tom Percival, is a tender picture book about bereavement in which a little girl, hearing the grown-ups say her much-loved grandma has 'gone' or been 'lost', sets off to find her, looking under the sofa and in the park. Each search is quietly funny and quietly heartbreaking, until someone gently explains what it really means when someone dies, and helps her see that the love and the memories stay.
