Fred Fordham is a British illustrator best known for the graphic-novel adaptation of Harper Lee's To Kill a Mockingbird, his graphic-novel adaptation of A Wizard of Earthsea (Ursula K. Le Guin), and his collaboration with Aimée de Jongh on the graphic-novel Lord of the Flies. Fordham's style is painterly, atmospheric and faithfully literary, well-suited to adapting serious novels for a graphic-novel audience.
