Gibson Twist is an American writer, illustrator and storyboard artist based in St. Louis, Missouri, best known in comics for his long-running webcomic Pictures of You. He adapts the script for the full-colour graphic-novel version of Erin Hunter's Warriors: The New Prophecy, illustrated by Sammy Savos, condensing the opening of the saga's second arc into a fast, atmospheric visual story. Working within one of children's fiction's biggest fandoms, Twist keeps the Clan politics, loyalty tests and life-or-death peril that made the warrior-cat books a phenomenon, in a format built to pull in new readers and reward devoted fans. His adaptation work also includes a graphic-novel take on Wuthering Heights, marking him out as a writer comfortable turning dense source material into propulsive, panel-driven storytelling for 8-12s.
