Jamie Gregory is a British author-illustrator who grew up in south-west London and now lives in Surrey with his family. Alongside his own books he designs jackets for many bestselling children's authors, and that eye for visual comedy runs right through his debut, Bone Head: Guardian of the Underworld. Written as the diary of Demise, an over-confident skeleton guardian of the Greek underworld who is demoted to dog-sitting the three-headed hound Cerberus, it is a riot of two-colour comic art, terrible decisions and Greek-myth mayhem, complete with his long-suffering supervisor Mort scribbling sarcastic corrections in green ink on every page.
