Loredana Baldinucci is an Italian writer, editor and translator who lives and works between Umbria and Milan. Best known within children's publishing as the long-standing Italian voice of Rick Riordan, translating the Percy Jackson, Apollo and Magnus Chase books, she also writes her own picture books and chapter books. Her picture book A Place Just for Me, illustrated by Melinda Berti and translated into English by Monica Meneghetti, follows Silver, the smallest and youngest mouse in a large, loving, gloriously noisy family, as he searches the forest for a quiet corner where he can do his favourite thing: absolutely nothing.
