A British picture-book illustrator with a warm, comic, big-character style, behind read-aloud favourites like I Rock and Too Many Moose, and a winner of the Sheffield Children's Book Award.
Mark Chambers is a British illustrator of picture books and young fiction who studied illustration before joining the Bright Group agency. His warm, expressive, comic style has illustrated a long list of read-aloud favourites, including I Rock (2026) with Eoin McLaughlin, and titles such as Too Many Moose and the My Hamster is a Genius series, for publishers including HarperCollins, Bloomsbury, Macmillan and Simon & Schuster. His work leans into big, funny characters and gleeful energy on the page, exactly the qualities that make a picture book demand a second reading. Shortlisted for the Roald Dahl Funny Prize and a winner of the Sheffield Children's Book Award, Chambers is a dependable name in laugh-out-loud illustration for the very young.
