Yuval Zommer is a London-based author-illustrator and environmentalist, best known for his bestselling Big Book nature series. A Royal College of Art graduate who spent years as an advertising creative director before turning to children's books, he creates oversized, whimsically detailed first field guides to the natural world — The Big Book of Bugs, Beasts, the Blue, Birds, Blooms and Belonging — each pairing his warm, richly patterned artwork with bite-sized facts from expert consultants.
