The conceit is the point: each volume arrives as a facsimile field notebook, dense with handwritten notes, maps, stuck-in pages and coloured-pencil sketches, from the original Amazon-set The Lost Book of Adventure to the castaway survival and marine mystery of The Lost Book of Undersea Adventure.
