My Favourite Seasons is a quartet of first-nature picture books created by Ekaterina Trukhan for Nosy Crow in partnership with the National Trust. One book for each season — spring, summer, autumn and winter — follows a small child through the changing outdoors, with something to spot and name on every page: blossom and lambs, ducks and deer, conkers and hedgehogs, snowmen and animal tracks. Trukhan's warm, uncluttered artwork and gentle rhythm are pitched squarely at the very youngest readers, and each book closes on a cosy family moment indoors.
