What’s it about?

The story.

Beth and Chanda are stylish best friends with big plans. They are sure that fame, fashion and fortune are just around the corner, especially when they land what seems like a perfect dogsitting job at Ms Langford's luxurious house. But the job quickly turns into a disaster when one of Ms Langford's prized possessions is broken, leaving Beth and Chanda scrambling to earn enough money to replace it. Car washing, book sales, interior decorating, they will try almost anything if it means fixing their mistake. This first Besties graphic novel expands the World of Click beyond Olive while keeping the same realistic, friendship-led middle-grade appeal. Written by Kayla Miller and Jeffrey Canino with lively art by Kristina Luu, it is a funny, energetic story about ambition, mistakes, teamwork and the pressure that money-making schemes can put on friendship.
