It follows Beth and Chanda through friendship, business ideas, performance, pranks, travel and crushes. Compared with the main Click books, Besties is a little more outwardly comic and event-driven, but it shares the same emotional territory: wanting to be liked, trying to work together, misunderstanding friends and learning how to repair things. It is a strong recommendation for readers who want realistic graphic novels with very high visual support and manageable stakes.

Besties works as one standalone friendship collection rather than a single continuous plot. Work It Out establishes Beth and Chanda's partnership through a small business idea; Find Their Groove and Prank War add performance and school-age rivalry energy; Set Sail moves the friendship into a travel setup; and Crush It! appears to bring romantic interest and social confidence further forward. The series is low sensitivity because the conflicts are social, comic and age-appropriate, with strong emotional repair and a very accessible graphic format.
