What’s it about?

The story.

Froggy is just a small, slimy guy trying to find his place in a very big world. Leaving his village of frogs behind, he sets off on an adventure - and almost immediately finds himself snatched up by a hungry bird, before tumbling down into an ancient pond. There he meets Fishtopher, a friendly fish, and a cast of wonderful oddballs: picnicking humans, a nine-hundred-year-old fluffy being, and a wizard or two. Along the way Froggy learns how to deal with big feelings, big magic spells and big fish, discovering wonder, frustration, loneliness and, best of all, the joy of good friends and a happy reunion. Paige Walshe's debut comic is bright, funny and full of heart, with an expressive, welcoming style that makes it a perfect early graphic novel. Winner of the American Library Association's inaugural Outstanding Comics for Children Award, it's ideal for readers who love Frog and Toad, Narwhal and Jelly, and Bumble and Snug.
