This is your island: a small place surrounded by water, with enough space for looking, resting, imagining, and wondering what might happen tomorrow. Jon Klassen's board-book world is simple enough for babies and toddlers, but visually composed enough to feel satisfying to adults reading it again and again. The island is not presented as dangerous or lonely; it is a calm, child-owned place, full of soft possibility.
